Default Specter Casino Refusing to pay 2,100 Winnings

Hi there,

Specter Casino are refusing to pay my 2,100 in winnings from their casino. The dispute has occured as I played by their terms and conditions and then requested a cashout. Specter Casino then changed their terms and conditions and are trying to enforce these terms and conditions against my playthrough before the terms had been changed.

Steve Russo over at Gambling Grumbles has looked into this for me, and the details can be found over at Gambling Grumbles:
http://www.gamblinggrumbles.com/Repo...ave-ended-well

Can anyone provide any assistance on resolving this dispute?

Thank You

It appears that Steve has hit a roadblock on this case and from his responses it appears that the casino will not consider discussing the issue further since they never responded to his resolution recommendation.

Yes it is unfortunate, but Steve suggested I try some other online forums to see if anyone else would have any more success contacting them.

On my last deposit I played over 14,000 (only 5,000 was required) on allowed games before requesting a withdrawal. I have not broken any terms so hopefully they will realise they should just pay me.

If they do not pay me then other players will know not to play there as you will never receive your winnings if Specter Casino decides one day that it doesn't want to pay you.

Just to clarify.

We'll go with what tha casino said for the moment. They say you were short of wagering 2000 on your first (cashout) session.

Now on your 2nd cashout session you are saying you wagered above the requirement by 9000. Therefore you have now more than met both play through requirtments. Is that correct?

Where I am confused is that the casino stated:

Quote:
'You have thus two options:
"'1) You fulfll the current wagering requirement "'2) You request that we refund your last deposit.'
Why then is there a problem?

That is correct, if you would like to PM me with your email address I can send you my player history.

Well I am just as confused as you! I have exceeded the total amount I was required to wager by some way, playing games that were not restricted at the time of play.

If their software was incorrectly configured to allow me to withdraw early, I should not be penalised, especially when I have wagered so much above what was required on my second bonus.

I don't think I should have to settle for my 1,600 in winnings being voided and my deposit returned as I have acted in good faith when playing at Specter Casino.

When Specter Casino refer to "fulfil the current wagering requirement" they want me to play another 10,000 on top of what I have already wagered, playing games not restricted by their new terms and conditions. I hope you will agree that this is unreasonable.

I agree that it appears they are not dealing fairly with you but it also appears they may not be willing to bend or negotiate this in any way.

I question why they would want to hurt their own reputation over this amount but I wonder if it is time to accept the deposit refund and move on....

I would hate to see you end up in a position where they would decide the matter closed and you lose the opportunity to get the deposit back in addition to losing the right to cash out your winnings since it does appear they have no intention of allowing you access to them.

I am not saying I agree with the casino, just suggsting that this may be the best outcome.

Do you think the casino has the right to void my winnings?

Do you think it should be able to get away with just returning my deposit? Keeping losing players deposits and keeping winning players winnings?

Sounds like a pretty profitable business plan to me....

It wasn't remotely rude of you not to say "hi". This is a gambling problems forum, not a social networking site. I don't see any rules requiring you to be all lovey-dovey.

It might not be out of the question to put in another 10K wagering. Assuming at worst -5% slots, that'd be 500 in -EV. The problem would be that they would likely put up another barrier if you successfully held on to a part of your winnings.

How much was the deposit? I'm guessing only a hundred or two. If it was as much as 500, it might be worth accepting the refund. Any less, not really.
