I think this whole healthy diet is just a crock anyway...

I am seriously considering going to back to the all red meat all fat diet...

Yeah right Mr Skinny LOL

You Rick, have a risk with regards to stress and maybe cholestorol. Probably mainly stress though? You are typically putting on a brave face whilst back at the salt mine, you are worrying about things.

Most important thing is to do what you can, and not to stress about what you cannot do. Stand back and appreciate all you have achieved. It will almost always reward you with that glow of satisfaction. If you focus on that which is impossible, or that which you still have to achieve, you run the risk of never giving yourself credit when it is due. That is a source of stress that will hurt you.

Red meat? Best for barbeque, not too much salt, fat removed. A good steak, medium done, with a nice pepper sauce, and a side order salad with a light balsamic dressing lets you feel like you are at a 5 star restaurant, but is not too bad when you consider that grilling let's the fat drip off (as opposed to frying for example).

White meat? Par boil some chicken drumsticks and then spice them with a tiny bit of salt, pepper, and maybe some of that premixed barbeque spice. Now put them on the grill. The precooking will let you grill them nicely without burning them. Again, served with a salad you can pretend to be at Chez Paris (5 star) and yet not put a foot wrong in the health dept.

The real solution

Stop talking about it and get your 7 foot Shimano rod out. Place one baitcaster reel on it and grab a handful of crankbaits or spinnerbaits. Now, go down to the water and waste 3 precious hours of work time on rejuvenating your soul. Strangely enough, the next day will see you achieve more in 8 hours than you may have in the entire previous week. Repeat this often enough, and you may yet see 90!

Only if you are getting a residual wind speed of about 80 MPH.
Then it counts!

eh .......hem..... I'm too busy turning burgers and such..... so I'll need a volunteer to climb the tree?

I'm very good at delegating authority

I used to at school..... we'd be given like 25 questions to answer. I'd get the smartest 5 around me organized. we each answered 5 questions and then swapped answers .... and then ...... smoke 'em if you got 'em.

That may be true Steve, but in a hurricane, the fire keeps going out until you get a tarp up.
