Super Bowl Sunday
This year it's between New Orleans Saints and the Indianapolis Colts and kick off is tomorrow (sunday).

I saw this controversy over one of the commercials. Many think the anti-abortation message is inappropriate for SuperBowl. I have no opinion on it. It's not my place to judge. Reading, I noticed Focus on Family is behind it, they are the same ones who are so vehametly against online gambling.

I am a football fan and was looking forward to watching the Super Bowl, including many of its clever and entertaining commercials. The likely inclusion by CBS, however, of a Focus on the Family message regarding abortion is ill-considered and insulting to those of us who simply want to be entertained and to escape the politico-religious antagonisms of modern life, if only for a few hours.

Another controversy is the half time show with the Who. I didn't even know this about pete townshens:

Pete Townshend’s 2003 arrest for accessing child pornography online is causing some child-protection advocates to protest this Sunday’s Super Bowl and to call for the resignation of NFL Chief Operating Officer Roger Goodell.

Most of us will be enjoying the game with to usual beer, pizza, wings, nachos etc etc.

Kick off is at 6:25 est. I'll route for the Saints. I just think they deserve it but I'm not a huge football fan so I don't know all the details LOL.

Being from New England myself I am not a Colts/Manning fan.

anyway, the super bowl doesn't count unless the team that is in it has gone through Foxboro to get there.
